About the Author

 

Fred Clifford, Friendly Fred, grew up in Beloit, Wisconsin. He has spent most of his career as a tool maker or machinist. He has a Bachelor's Degree in English from Metropolitan State College of Denver. After graduating from Metro State, he drove a cab in the Denver metro area. After driving for nearly eight years, he returned to machining.

Fred has lived in six states including Wisconsin, Louisiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Colorado. He resides in Lakewood, Colorado with Mary, his wife of twenty four years, and two cats, Taffy and Brandy.
